Technical Guidance
I use Zoom and Skype to conduct the online lessons. Here are some general technical guidelines and tips to help you.
Zoom
Access to internet, camera, speakers and microphone are required.
Browsers Supported:
Mozilla Firefox / Firefox
Google Chrome
Safari
Microsoft Edge
Opera
User Account Required?
No, an account is not required – simply click on the Zoom link provided by your instructor. However, setting up your free account is better – since as a ‘host’ you’ll be able to set up calls and meetings with colleagues, friends and family yourself. Plus you'll be able to set a profile image, virtual background, and more, if desired.
We recommend using desktop-computer-sized monitors for your lessons; laptops can be a little small. We do not recommend using tablets or smartphone-sized screens at all.
